Specializing in therapy for individuals and families affected by Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviours (BFRBs). This includes hair-pulling, skin-picking, nail-biting and more. Whether you're struggling with a BFRB yourself, or worried about your child,
you don't have to navigate this alone.
I provide counselling, practical support to help reduce shame, build understanding, and a space where you can talk to someone who TRULY gets it.
Hello, I am Sarah!A counsellor, mental health advocate, and someone who believes that feeling truly understood can make all the difference.
I have trichotillomania (hair-pulling disorder) and dermatillomania (skin-picking disorder), so supporting people affected by body-focused repetitive behaviours (BFRBs) is deeply personal to me. I know how isolating these experiences can feel, and the impact they can have on the whole family.
BFRBs aren't just something I studied about in a textbook. They're something I live with and spent years learning about, advocating for, and supporting others through. My history with the Canadian BFRB community is one my greatest achievements and sources of pride. Click the button below to learn all about it!
